2010 Travels and Collaborations
August 7th – September 17th
BrevonArt Gallery
Terry Chipp, Katherine Milns and Nathan Turnbull (The Brevon Studio Artists) occupy the studios above the BevonArt Gallery in Doncaster. Established about a year ago, “Travels and Collaborations” is the group’s first joint exhibition in more ways than one. As well as showcasing their individual talents through paintings based on their extensive travels they are showing their collaborative works for the first time. All three artists work on these paintings at the same time, usually in a public space and often with public participation. The end results are as different and as unpredictable as the events that inspire them.
Friday 6th August.
The exhibition will be formally opened at 6.30pm by Dr Jo Willoughby, Britain’s leading international sit-skier.
For more information see www.brevonstudioartists.com or www.brevonart.com or phone the gallery on 01302 366133.

Out of almost 1300 entries from across the North East of England only about 200 were chosen. I was very pleased to have my drawing selected but I was disappointed in the way it was displayed. The architecturally wonderful venue (a converted railway station) had little eye-level hanging space. Too many good works were tucked into obscure corners or high on the walls.
